About the role
We're looking for a Data Engineer II to help design, build, and optimize data solutions that power analytics, insights, and business decision‐making across Walmart. You'll work with cross‐functional teams, solve real business challenges, and contribute to data products used at massive scale.
What you'll do
Translate business problems into data and technical solutions using analytics, big data, and automation.
Understand use cases and expected outcomes to design effective, scalable approaches.
Work closely with business and technical partners to gather requirements, support projects, and identify improvement opportunities.
Identify and work with SQL/NoSQL data sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and completeness.
Support ETL/ELT development, including batch and streaming ingestion, APIs, and data integration pipelines.
