Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Data Migration Lead to support an industry leader in American tobacco manufacturing for a 12 month contract term hybrid role, requiring onsite presence twice a week in the Greensboro, NC. The Data Migration Lead role will be responsible for the end‑to‑end strategy and execution of data migration into SAP S/4HANA, ensuring high‑quality master and transactional data flows that enable stable cutovers and reliable day‑one operations.
Responsibilities of the Data Migration Lead:
Own the holistic S/4 data migration strategy, roadmap, and execution plan, including phase/wave definitions, cycles, scope, and data readiness checkpoints.
Lead MDG design/configuration changes to the global model for core domains (e.g., Business Partner, Material/Product, Finance) including enrichment rules, validations, and harmonization to S/4 target models.
