Job Description

The Global Operational Intelligence Group transforms data into actionable insights to support factory operations in delivering industry-leading hard disk drive solutions. We aim to drive Seagate factory’s digitalization and intelligence by leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize operations and unlock new business value.

About the role - you will:

  • Work closely with data scientist mentors to formulate business and engineering challenges as well‑defined AI problems, developing anomaly detection (AD) and root cause analysis (RCA) solutions for complex manufacturing processes and capacity planning controls

  • Apply advanced data science techniques—including time series foundation models for machine sensor AD problems, causal AI for RCA problems, and AI-driven optimization and reasoning of actionable parameters—to accurately model manufacturing behavior and enable data driven, resilient ...
