Summary This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Human Capital, Human Capital Strategy & Systems Group, Division of Workforce Analytics & Accountability. As a Data Scientist, GS-1560-12, you will design, develop, and implement the analytical, statistical, and programming mechanisms necessary to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret unique and specialized human resources (HR) data sets. Responsibilities Provides expert guidance on workforce and HR data reporting, independently collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting specialized HR data sets such as recruitment, staffing, retirement, and separations. Conducts data collection, manipulation/cleansing, and analysis; develops data visualizations; develops and tests hypotheses to generate reports and to develop compelling stories that convey statistical information to non-technical audiences.
