Database Coordinator - Schulich Heart Program - Regular Full-Time - 2026-17357

Summary of Duties

• Reporting to the Manager, Schulich Heart Program, the incumbent will manage and maintain cardiac and vascular clinical databases and registries within the Schulich Heart Program.
• Responsible for data entry, validation, and maintenance within the CorHealth DCIS registry, including procedures such as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), MitraClip, Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO), as well as all cardiac surgery procedures.
• Support and maintain program-level databases, including the Vascular Limb Presentation Database (VLPP).
• Perform data collection through comprehensive chart review and abstraction (paper and electronic records).
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data submissions to internal databases and external registries (e.g., CorHealth/DCIS).
