Job Description

The Position
The Day Club Assistant provides small group activities implementation and facilitation along with the provision of personal support and care to Club Clients.

This position is offered on a casual basis working in our Day Clubs North of the river. We are looking for a Day Club Assistant that will be available from Monday to Friday between the times of 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Key responsibilities:
Perform all duties and interactions with management, staff, residents and their families, visiting health professionals and any other person in the work environment

Support the maintenance or restoration of the client’s independence

Drive a day club van to collect clients from their residence and back, outings in the community

Assists the client with maintaining personal hygiene including dental hygiene, laundering personal items, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence hygiene needs
