Job Summary
The Driver/Driver-Salesman delivers product orders to assigned accounts while working to maximize sales through upselling and providing excellent, reliable customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Delivers ordered product to customers on time while overseeing all delivery, truck maintenance, and safety processes and procedures for the route. Develops and maintains an effective rapport with all customers. Oversees performance of route helpers, assistant drivers, and merchandisers assigned to team. Counts truck and verifies with warehouse personnel before leaving for the route. Works to always be increasing product knowledge and utilizes it to help customers sell more beer.
