Job Description
Responsibilities
- Carry out deliveries according to delivery instructions and schedule, ensuring all goods are delivered on time.
- Loading and unloading of goods, ensure that all items are checked against Delivery Orders prior to loading into truck.
- Keeping logs of the delivery activities on the ‘Daily Delivery Instruction’.
- Map out the fastest routes to the desired destinations and to drive safely at all times.
- Report promptly to the Superior of any delays or problems encountered.
- Ensure that goods sent to customers are checked against the Delivery Orders in their presence to avoid any dispute thereafter.
- Ensure delivery truck is properly serviced and maintained as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the truck both interior and exterior.
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving license with good driving records.
