Job Description
The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting product demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring optimal stock availability across stores and warehouses. This role plays a key part in supporting supply chain efficiency by analyzing data trends, monitoring stock aging, and coordinating closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Purchasing teams—particularly within a fast‑paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track stock aging to reduce excess inventory and minimize waste
- Analyze historical sales and inventory data to develop accurate demand forecasts
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to account for promotions and demand‑driving activities
- Track and manage replenishment requirements for stores and remote warehouses
