Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant prepares a working space in a dental facility for dental examinations and procedures. Job duties include the preparation of dental instruments and materials for the dentist and ensuring they are properly sterilised.

He/She also handles administrative tasks, such as scheduling of appointments and filing dental records.

• Assist Dentists during dental treatment
• Assist in performing of dental radiography
• Assist to order dental supplies when supplies are low in stock
• Educate patients on dental and post-operative care
• Handle patient registration and appointment scheduling
• Handle telephone and walk-in enquiries
• Mix material for fillings
• Perform general administrative duties
• Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment
• Willing to work saturdays
