Deputy Director, Bureau of Engineering

This is a full-time, Safety-Sensitive position as Deputy Director of Public Works for the Bureau of Engineering. This position holds the highest level of responsibility and authority for the Bureau of Engineering. This position oversees 77 employees and an annual budget of $12 million, including a Capital Improvement program budget of $2 billion. This position primarily manages the entire Bureau of Engineering, including General Engineering, Utility Engineering, Technical Engineering, and Engineering Administration. NATURE AND VARIETY OF WORK Work involves responsibility for planning, organizing, budgeting, and directing the Bureau of Engineering's various programs and activities.
