Reuters is looking for an ambitious copy editor to work on our fast‑paced Global News Desk in Manila. The position requires weekend and evening shifts.
About the Role
As a Desk Editor, you will:
- Write and edit breaking news stories from around the globe, producing clean, engaging stories at speed.
- Copyedit longer initiative stories for a global audience that may take more than a day.
- Ensure every story is balanced, includes fair comment and engaging visuals.
- Collaborate with colleagues around the world.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Desk Editor if you:
- Have experience as a reporter or production editor; a track record in business or finance is a plus but not required.
