Reporting to the Diagnostic Imaging manager/supervisor, this position supports a safe and efficient patient and family centered care experience. This position is responsible for providing high-quality direct patient care and producing quality images. As part of an interdisciplinary Diagnostic Imaging Services team, this position is required to work all shifts and provide on-call coverage when assigned.
Description
As a Diagnostic Sonographer I, you will perform a variety of standardized and complex ultrasound services for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Your responsibilities include preparing the patient for examination, reviewing patient history, explaining procedures, obtaining ultrasound images of diagnostic quality, and takes initial action to resolve abnormal findings.
