Byer Steel Diesel Mechanic Cincinnati, OH Inspect, Diagnose, adjust, repair, overhaul truck, trailer, and mobile mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic, such as cranes, bulldozers, graders, conveyors, forklifts.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Essential Job Duties Perform all work assigned in a safe, well managed manner, and assure that the area is safe and clean.
Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery.
Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
Properly diagnose malfunctions.
Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers specifications.
Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and tools.
Schedule and perform all maintenance tasks on a timely basis.
