Job Description
SUMMARY: A well-established commercial feedlot is seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Diesel Mechanic to be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of agricultural and heavy equipment essential to its farming operations. POSITION INFO: Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Must be a qualified Diesel Mechanic with a valid Red Seal Trade Certificate
- Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience as a Mechanic
- Proven experience working on tractors, farm implements, trucks, and earth-moving equipment
- Valid driver’s licence (PDP will be an advantage) and own reliable transport
- Good communications skills with fluency in Afrikaans and English (Reading, Writing, Speaking)
