Diesel Motor Mechanic

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs to a range of diesel equipment, including light vehicles, trucks, generators and earthmoving machinery
• Complete all activities to a high and professional standard in respect to your trade/position
• Assist in the prevention of workplace incidents by reporting health or safety hazards
• Assisting all team members to achieve goals in a safe and efficient manner
• General housekeeping
• Working well in a team environment

Skills and experience required:

• Relevant Trade Certificate
• Minimum of 2 years of trade experience
• Experience with diesel engines from light vehicles up to trucks
• Fault finding & diagnosis
• Must be familiar with and use the correct PPE for each stage of operation

Salary range for this role is $94,000-$120,000 per annum.
