Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes.
Follow therapeutic and modified diet orders as directed.
Ensure food is prepared, held, and served safely following sanitation and infection control standards.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, equipment, and work areas.
Complete required temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and other documentation.
Follow all facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous cooking experience in healthcare, long-term care, or food service preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
