Job overview

This exciting new post is ideal for an experienced Dietitian with expertise in Gastroenterology, who will drive our Trust wide gastroenterology service. You will work closely with the Nutrition Team, the gastroenterology ward and the Trust’s dietetic department as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a busy district general hospital. The post will focus on:

· acute inpatient Gastroenterology, Critical Care and Parenteral Nutrition responsibilities
· Nutrition Team liaison to support decision making in complex nutrition support
· gastroenterology outpatient clinic
direct line management responsibilities
· Service develop and quality improvement projects

There will be an opportunity to further develop clinical and professional skills such as FODMAP training, and ongoing professional development, managerial and leadership skills.
