Dietitian
Summary
Reporting to the Health Services Lead, we are seeking a nutrition specialist to educate clients about food, nutrition, and healthy food choices. The incumbent will service both clinical and community nutrition for both Eskasoni Health Centre and the upcoming Kiknu Long Term Care facility.
Responsibilities
Clinical & Community Nutrition:
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the dietitian will collaborate with primary care providers including physicians, home and community care staff, Kiknu Long Term Care staff, diabetes care program, maternal and child health program, early intervention, addiction and mental health services, community health and chronic disease management in Eskasoni. The Dietician provides individual patient care and supports all community programs and services in providing education on healthy lifestyles and the development of preventative programming with a focus on healthy eating.
