Director, Environmental Health & Safety

Overview

The Director, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) is responsible for driving EHS strategy, compliance, and performance across multiple manufacturing sites in North America for the Silent-Aire business unit. This role provides leadership to site‑level EHS Managers and ensures alignment with corporate objectives while fostering a Zero Harm culture.

Safety Through Lean Business Systems

• Embed safety as a core pillar within the Lean Business System across all sites
• Drive structured problem solving using A3 thinking, root cause analysis, and validated countermeasures
• Implement tiered accountability (Tier 1–Tier5) with safety embedded into daily tier board reviews and escalation processes
• Ensure visual management systems clearly communicate safety KPIs, abnormalities, and action plans
