Director Facilities Maintenance

Position Summary

Responsible for the overall management of assigned department including administrative, financial, compliance, quality improvement, technical, and personnel activities in accordance with established policies and standards. Meets and consults with system leader for policies, procedures, equipment, and supplies, to promote standardization across the system.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1.Plans and administers directly, and through subordinate supervisory personnel, the effective management and delivery of facility maintenance services in accordance with all hospital, system and regulatory agency standards.

2.Directs and coordinates facility maintenance activities to insure that services are provided on schedule with quality and cost objectives.

3.Ensures that all facility maintenance activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, federal, and governmental regulations and laws.
