Director, Human Resources

Reporting to the President, the position is accountable for human resources strategy, organizational effectiveness, executive‑level communications, and strategic change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic business partner to support overall business performance and organizational effectiveness.

Partner with business unit leaders to provide practical HR support across all functional areas.

Lead the human resources function, including organizational design, talent acquisition support, employee relations, leadership communications, compensation‑related coordination, policy development, and people programs across union and non‑union environments.

Manage multiple collective agreements and union relationships.

Provide strategic HR leadership to executive management on workforce planning, succession, performance management, employee engagement, compensation modeling, and organizational effectiveness.
