**Position Overview:**

Responsible for all strategic planning and program development activities related to the development, implementation and ongoing leadership of a nursing program center of excellence. The Director is responsible for the development and attainment of the service mission, program development, short and long term goals, operational goals and objectives identified for the program and related departments. Develops and fosters a solid partnership with physicians, medical staff and Sutter Health leaders, care teams and other employees to facilitate and collaborate on initiatives, to resolve operational challenges and/or to improve processes.
