We are looking for an experienced Director of Accounting to lead and oversee financial operations for an organization in Chicago, Illinois. This contract-to-permanent position requires a strong leader with expertise in accounting processes, financial reporting, and team development. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in real estate/property accounting, as well as proficiency with tools such as Yardi, Bill Pay and P2P systems.

• Oversee and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
