St John the Evangelist Catholic High School, Nowra is a Catholic co-educational school situated in the Shoalhaven area and part of the Diocese of Wollongong. Founded by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan. The school provides a wide curriculum to approximately 935 students as we strive for academic success while offering many sporting, cultural and extracurricular opportunities. Our motto, Pax Christi – (Peace of Christ) is lived throughout the school as we strive to have peace in our hearts, be peace makers, both within the school and the wider community.
