Job Description
Summary:
Qualify potential donors and develop relationships between Cook Childrens and prospects for philanthropic gifts of $25,000 or more; cultivate and solicit friends, grateful patient families and organizations for significant gifts to fund identified campaign and/or health care system priorities. Supervise Development staff, manage program budget and provide leadership and direction for gift cultivation and solicitation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
8-10 years of experience required in high level fund raising, marketing or related field in order to acquire skills necessary to administer, coordinate and/or participate in major gifts fund raising activities and proposal development, OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
**May consider direct fundraising experience of 20 plus years in lieu of a degree.**
