Director, Technology Audit AI & Emerging Technologies

ABOUT THE ROLE

A global financial institution is seeking a Director to lead independent audit and assurance activities related to Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and emerging Agentic AI technologies. This senior leadership role will be responsible for evaluating AI governance frameworks, model risk controls, regulatory compliance, and responsible AI practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on experience implementing or governing AI solutions with a strong background in Internal Audit, Technology Risk, IT Audit, Model Risk, or AI Governance. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while providing credible challenge to engineering, data science, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders.

This role offers the opportunity to shape audit strategy around one of the most rapidly evolving risk domains within financial services.
