Truck Dispatcher (US Operations)
Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented Truck Dispatcher to manage freight operations for US based carriers. The role involves booking loads, negotiating rates, and coordinating with drivers and brokers to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Find and book loads using load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop)
Negotiate rates with brokers to maximize profit margins
Dispatch drivers and provide clear load instructions
Plan routes and ensure on-time pickup and delivery
Track shipments and provide real-time updates to clients
Handle documentation (Rate Confirmations, BOLs, PODs)
Build and maintain relationships with brokers and shippers
Resolve issues such as delays, breakdowns, or detention
Maintain daily reports and operational records
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months – 2 years of truck dispatching experience (US market preferred)
