Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the drafting team.
- Allocate workload and manage departmental resources.
- Ensure all drawings meet engineering, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
- Conduct final reviews and approvals of technical drawings.
- Establish and maintain drafting standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Coordinate activities between engineering, production, maintenance, and project teams.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure deliverables are achieved on time.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the design office.
- Conduct performance management, coaching, and development of team members.
- Support product development and engineering improvement projects.
- Manage document control and engineering change processes.
- Prepare departmental reports and provide management feedback on project progress and resource requirements.
