Company based in Heidelberg Gauteng is seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join their team. This is a contract position with the posibility of becoming permanent. POSITION INFO:
Core Responsibilities
- Plant and Equipment Design
- Develop complete plant layouts based on process requirements and client input.
- Perform concept and detailed design of mechanical equipment and plant systems.
- Model large mechanical assemblies in 3D CAD.
- Produce General Arrangement drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Manufacturing Drawings
- Generate manufacturing drawings and DXF files for CNC cutting.
- Prepare assembly drawings and exploded views.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable and practical for fabrication.
- Product Development
- Assist with development of standard plant equipment and product designs.
