The role
Create and maintain statutory mine plans and operational mine plans to ensure safe execution of mining and processing as determined by the Mine and Health Safety Act. Be an administering aid to the survey section for general office administration.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to create and maintain all statutory mine plans stipulated by the Mine Health and Safety Act, other acts applicable to mining, Code of Practices and SOPs approved by the mine
- Plans to maintain, plot and distribute includes:
- Annually submit statutory plans to DMR
- Monthly updates of Traffic Management Plans
- Monthly updates of Hazard Plan
- Monthly updates of Rehabilitation Plans for mine closure
