Nursing Technician

The Nursing Technician supports the Registered Nurse through observing and documenting patient conditions. Working under close supervision, this role assists with patient support through progressive mobility and assistance with daily tasks as needed. At this time, we are only considering applicants with recent ED Experience!

Essential Job Functions

• Supports patients with daily living tasks, including meals, personal care, and progressive mobility in order to support the recovery and plan of care.
• Assesses patients' quality of life related to nutrition, hydration, and elimination in order to distribute resources and anticipate patient needs.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges patients in order to move them to the appropriate locations in line with the plan of care.
