Job Description
Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical teams including technicians, fitters and contractors to ensure they perform tasks safely and efficiently.
- Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure that project schedules are met.
- Ensure proper documentation of work performed by the mechanical team.
- Oversee routine preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, valves and piping systems.
- Ensure timely repair of breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
- Ensure proper calibration and alignment of machinery as per manufacturer guidelines.
