Position Details
Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher

The Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher is responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to preschool-aged children (ages 3–5) with disabilities in a classroom setting. The ECSE Teacher develops and implements individualized programs that promote developmental growth, school readiness, communication, social-emotional skills, and academic foundations. This position works collaboratively with families, related service providers to ensure students receive appropriate support and services in the least restrictive environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Michigan teaching certificate with an Early Childhood Special Education (ZS) endorsement or other appropriate Michigan special education certification.

Knowledge of child development and evidence-based instructional practices for young children with disabilities.
