Echocardiography Technician

Job Objective: A brief overview of the position.

Performs echocardiography studies on all patient populations served in the in-patient and out-patient Cardiology units. Performs transesophageal, stress echocardiography as ordered. May be cross trained in EKG performance and record keeping.

Qualifications

Education Required: Graduation from an accredited educational program in American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) program or Associate's degree in echocardiography/cardiovascular sonography if hired after March 1, 2023.

Licensure/Certification Required: Successful completion of Echocardiography Registry Exam with RDCS, RCS or RVT certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing Int...
