Job Description
The Opportunity
- Manage, develop, administer and implement programs designed to reduce risks and minimize losses associated with employee safety, industrial hygiene, fire protection, environmental issues, and occupational health.
- Ensure compliance with all Corporate, Divisional, local, state and country regulations pertaining to Environmental, Health and Safety. Local responsibility for site security. Serve as a member of the site senior staff leadership team.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for environmental management, monitoring and reporting for the plant.
- Develop and conduct safety and environmental training; provide resources to ensure completion of training. Interface with Corporate, Division, intra-plant and with community organizations/agencies regarding safety, environmental and health issues.
- Initiate and submit the appropriate reports as needed/requested.
