EIS Teacher Assistant

Under the authority of the English International Stream (EIS) Coordinator, the Kindergarten Teaching Assistant works alongside teachers to support the well-being, safety, and learning of young children. The assistant plays an active role in the daily life of the classroom, contributing to the preparation and smooth running of learning activities and ensuring a clean, safe, and well‑organised environment.

The Kindergarten Teaching Assistant supports teachers in the daily organisation and supervision of pupils and contributes to the smooth and safe running of the school day. In particular, the Teaching Assistant is expected to:

• Supervise children during arrivals and departures
• Support children’s personal hygiene, including accompanying children to the toilet, supervising handwashing, and providing assistance where necessary
