Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Determining, designing, developing, specifying and verifying electrical motive powertrain systems for use in vehicle propulsion and mechanism actuation.
• Determining drive and duty demands required of the application; establishing operational performance specifications to enable powertrain development.
• Architecting end‑to‑end powertrain energy and drive systems – spanning battery, charging, motors, actuators, and mechanical transmissions.
• Selection of suitable battery technology and chemistry; working with battery suppliers for detailed specification, design and procurement support of suitable battery systems.
