Electrical Design Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate professional electrical designs to meet client-specific requirements
• Align designs with business strategy, industry best practices, safety regulations and cost management objectives
• Prepare scope of work, specifications, bill of quantities and tender documents
• Compile detailed data packs to support manufacturing and software engineering phases of projects
• MCC design in accordance with IEC61439 including heat rise calculations, equipment selection and layout design
• Lighting and small power design, substation design, cable racking design and cable sizing
• Transformer sizing and equipment selection
• Liaise directly with clients on design specifications and requirements
• Ensure continuous design improvements for optimal and cost-effective implementation
