Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Performs activities related to the electrical works and maintenance needed onboard vessels
- Systems / power generation / backup power source / fire detection system and safety system for 2 stroke or 4 stroke engines
- Assist to guide onboard service engineers on the task which require electrical engineers' competencies so as to operate and maintain electrical/electronic/electro-hydraulic/electro-pneumatic/automation systems efficiently.
- Termination works on vessel / Trouble shooting of 4 stroke generator safety system / Electrical governors would be value added
- Advise customers / Supt, the need of shore assistance or need to procure spares in case defects of equipment failures which cannot be resolved thru onboard attendance.
- Carry out on board attendance in liaison with the Service manager
- Provide work done report and submit to service managers
