Job Description
ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN (CARBON PLANT)
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance:
- Knowledge to perform Breakdown, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Furnace ramps, Anode handling system, Fume treatment plant and it's auxiliary systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, MCCs, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, soft starters, and power distribution systems.
Instrumentation Maintenance:
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot field instruments including:
- Temperature transmitters and thermocouples
- Pressure transmitters and switches
- Flow meters
Control Systems:
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC SYSTEM (only), wifi and network architecture drawing understandings and different type of communication protocols
- Monitor furnace fire control system components and process parameters.
