Electrical solar project manager

Our client in the Renewables and Environment industry is currently looking for an Electrical Solar Project Manager , in Kenilworth, Cape Town. Responsibilities: Engage with (residential and industrial) clients to understand their energy needs and objectives - this may involve detailed Site Inspections. Provide them with advice on how to manage their electricity consumption, identify quick-wins and potential investment projects. Assessing the Return on Investment (Ro I) of investments to save electricity - including solar energy systems. Prepare technical specifications and Quotation Requests - for the company to issue to approved Solar Energy companies. Engage with the Solar Energy companies; adjudicate the bids received and recommend the optimum solution to the Client. Project Manage the entire installation to hand-over and commissioning on the Client’s behalf. Reporting to the Managing Director and closely cooperating with colleagues.
