Job Description
The company is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Technician to join the Maintenance team in the Wastewater Division at Abbey Mills – Stratford – E15 2RN.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the health, safety and well‑being of yourself, colleagues, contractors and visitors, following Health and Safety at Work regulations and company guidelines.
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance, respond to alarms, fault find and resolve or raise escalation, maintain plant and equipment daily, and install new plant and equipment in compliance with standards and regulations.
- Work on motors, gearboxes, screw/chain conveyors, centrifuges, pumps, control gear, 3‑phase motors, VSDs, automatic valves, flow, level and pressure measurement systems and PLCs.
- Record work and asset information to improve business performance and identify future risks, recommending changes and raising issues for resolution.
