Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
• Perform work that meets the electrical plan, like codes, blueprints, and standards.
• Complete required documentation of repairs and service information.
• Calibrate equipment to provide specifications.
• Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs.
• Trace out short circuits in wiring, using a test meter.
• Strip insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and attach wires to terminals for subsequent soldering.
• Examine electrical units for loose and broken connections.
• Construct controllers and panels.
• Clean work areas.
• Apply and follow up application to COOP
• Record materials and tools inventory
