Job Description
Join Invinity Energy Systems as an Electrochemical Cell Engineer, focusing on optimizing flow battery performance and durability. This role involves innovative design and testing of unit cell components.
You will develop and enhance unit cell architectures, including bipolar plates and frames, to maximize reliability while minimizing costs. The position requires a strong grasp of electrochemical cell operation, material selection, and advanced manufacturing processes. You will engage in prototype creation and performance evaluation to ensure new technologies transition smoothly to product development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop new unit cell architectures and components for flow batteries
• Innovate sealing, manufacturing, and assembly processes
• Select materials based on electrochemical properties
• Design test cells and develop testing methods
• Conduct failure analysis of electrochemical cells
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
