Summary
The Electronic Technician II installs, troubleshoots, and maintains electronic security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, and networked security components. This role supports Department of Defense security projects at various locations and works both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Install and service electronic security systems (access control, intrusion detection). Read and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Install conduit, cabling, equipment racks, and system hardware. Configure systems, support network integration, and perform testing. Document work performed and maintain tools and equipment.
