Job Description
Seeking an elementary guidance counselor who can oversee the operations of the elementary counseling department and has a heart for education.
- Special Education Needs - Oversees, gives guidance and coordinates the referral process between staff, therapists, special education teachers and parents.
- Testing - Coordinates, provides materials and administers standardized tests. They will also keep organized records of these tests.
- Student Management - Works with the elementary principal, parents and teachers on student grade placements, the promotion and retention of students, as well as ensuring the smooth transition of students to Middle School.
- Teaching - Develops lessons and activities to support classroom teachers, especially those that deal with difficult and emotional issues.

- University teaching qualification and training in the educational counseling realm
