North Island Hospital Comox Valley is seeking part-time or full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians.
We welcome either CCFP-EM or FRCPC Emergency certification.
North Island Hospital Comox Valley is a beautiful new hospital, which opened in October 2017. We are a 24-hour Emergency Department with 153 inpatient beds and see a variety of different patient populations including pediatrics. The hospital serves approximately 66,000 people and we see over 31,000 visits annually. The area is a growing community and Emergency Department visits are increasing. We are a referral center for some surgical specialties and have a broad range of consultants including Internal Medicine, Intensive Care, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Otolaryngology, Radiology and Family Medicine.
