In this role, you will be handling various aspects of labor law and employment litigation, managing cases independently, and providing counsel on wage and hour laws among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Manage cases from inception to conclusion with minimal supervision
• Lead counsel on employment litigation cases
• Conduct depositions and handle hearings effectively
• Provide counsel to clients on various aspects of wage and hour laws
• Litigate wage and hour cases, class action cases, as well as employment discrimination and wrongful termination matters in California state and federal courts
• Respond to administrative charges effectively
• Familiarize with wage laws, leave, and compliance matters (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, FLSA and Ca Labor Codes)
