Encounters Peer Leader, Sakura Scholars (Student)

:Summary: The Program Leader will serve as a student facilitator for the section of Encounters I for the AU-Ritsumeikan Sakura Scholars Program.Program Leaders for Encounters I have various responsibilities, including updating their students about campus events and activities, hosting office hours, encouraging student engagement, and coordinating on course planning, facilitation, and classroom management/logistics. Encounters I sections will meet every other week, and Program Leaders are expected to attend all bi-weekly Encounters I classes for their assigned sections and assist the Instructor by offering their unique perspective as an AU student. Program Leaders may also assist with in-person events and lectures related to the course.Essential Functions:

Participate in Program Leader training and meetings throughout the semester (dates TBA).
